  • Core Digital Literacy: Develop and deliver essential digital skills across foundational, undergraduate, and postgraduate architecture and landscape architecture programs.
  • Specialist Digital Literacy: Cultivate specialized digital expertise tailored to the unique needs of our ateliers and advanced postgraduate programs.
  • Enhanced Digital Literacy: Lead engaging weekly workshops for students at all levels, covering a spectrum of digital skills from fundamental to cutting-edge technologies.
  • Student Support: Provide personalized one-on-one tutorials to guide students in their digital skill development and design problem-solving.
  • Virtual Learning Environment (VLE): Leverage Moodle to provide access to software, hardware, learning resources, and makerspaces.

Your responsibilities will extend to collaborating with the Digital Design Lead, liaising with the University's IT department, working closely with workshop staff at both Manchester Metropolitan University and the University of Manchester, and supporting our online delivery and remote working strategies.

We seek an individual proficient in core software packages such as Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and various rendering engines. A willingness to learn new technologies, maintain currency, and share knowledge with colleagues is essential. Experience in assisting students with customizing tools and software, and emerging AI technologies would be highly advantageous.

Your exceptional digital skills and experience with digital media techniques will empower you to facilitate the development of our students' design processes. We encourage a deep understanding of design processes and the interplay between analog and digital techniques to ensure an enriching student experience through innovative learning, teaching, and assessment methods.
