Early Years Teaching Assistant Role Overview

Ribbons & Reeves, a leading education recruitment agency, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our partner school in Hull. As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and development of our pupils in the Nursery and Reception classes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Early Years Teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Providing individualized support to pupils, promoting their social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Collaborating with the EYFS Leader to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Participating in regular CPD sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Working closely with the teaching team to ensure a smooth and engaging learning environment

Requirements:

  • Graduate with a 2:1 or higher degree classification in Early Childhood Studies or Education Studies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, teachers, and parents
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Passion for working with young children and a commitment to their education and well-being
