About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Parcel Delivery Driver to join our team at Royal Mail Group. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering parcels to customers across the region, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver parcels to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Use route-planning technology tools to optimize delivery routes and ensure parcels are delivered to the right place at the right time
  • Prep your van and workload for the day, ensuring you are ready to hit the road and deliver
  • Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, providing excellent customer service
  • Work independently, using your own initiative to manage your workload and meet delivery targets

Requirements

  • Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Ability to work independently and use your own initiative
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including afternoons and evenings
  • Comfortable using technology, including route-planning tools

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, paid monthly, with an hourly rate of £12.54p/hr. You will also receive overtime pay at 1.25 x the normal hourly rate, as well as 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (pro-rata). We also offer a company pension scheme, full uniform, and lots of opportunity to develop a career, including our trainee manager roles and Apprentice Schemes.
