Our esteemed global client, with a presence across the UK, is seeking a skilled Oracle Developer to join their dynamic team. This role involves overseeing intricate Oracle Cloud implementations, utilizing a blend of Oracle's PaaS offerings, open-source technologies, and products from various vendors across diverse market sectors.

This position offers flexibility, allowing candidates to work from anywhere in the UK, with minimal office attendance required.

The ideal candidate will concentrate on the detailed design and implementation of modern applications and cloud-based integrations within the Oracle Cloud ecosystem.

Additionally, you may play a crucial role in complex migration projects, focusing on designing and executing robust and scalable transformations.


Essential Skills:


- Proven experience in implementing cloud-based integrations, particularly in data migration within Oracle Cloud, across different cloud vendors, and to third-party or on-premises applications.
- Expertise in Oracle Cloud and Oracle eBusiness Suite in various domains (e.g., Finance, Projects, HCM, Payroll) with a solid understanding of data models and structures.
- Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills to address complex data-related challenges and deliver clear integration solutions using ETL tools and methodologies.
- A strong background in Oracle eBusiness Suite, complemented by recent cloud experience (e.g., SQL/PLSQL/Java/OAF/BI/Forms/Reports) is desirable.
- Understanding of Oracle functional concepts, particularly in HCM and finance modules, is beneficial.
- Must hold SC clearance or be willing to obtain it, and must be a sole UK national.


Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:
- Operate as a developer, designing and implementing Oracle cloud solutions or participating in Oracle data migration projects.

- Focus on creating and integrating components for core Oracle Cloud applications, both internally and externally with other cloud providers, as well as with on-premises technologies:

1. Cloud-based integrations (primarily utilizing Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC))
2. User interfaces (mainly using Oracle JET/ Visual Builder Cloud Service/ APEX or other widely recognized JavaScript frameworks)
3. Data Migration tools (e.g., Oracle Data Integrator (ODI))

- Occasionally engage with modern open-source or third-party solutions.
- Design and implement efficient and scalable integration solutions or data mapping and transformations.
- Support key testing phases and collaborate with senior stakeholders on planning, strategy, and issue resolution.
