About the Role: The Care Navigation Service in Preston, Lancashire is actively seeking Administrative Officers to collaborate with external care providers. Utilizing ICT systems and software, you will be responsible for sourcing care packages for residents in Lancashire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the sourcing of care packages with external providers, ensuring all associated administrative tasks are completed accurately.
- Handle an allocated workload effectively.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
- Follow established processes and procedures while adhering to legal frameworks.
- Meet strict deadlines and escalate cases as necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date electronic records, ensuring data security and accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve service targets.
- Work independently, employing creative problem-solving skills.
- Foster strong working relationships with colleagues and external partners.
- Participate in team rotas for various tasks, including managing team mailbox queries and disseminating service information.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues and management to deliver high-quality service.
Additional Information:
The service operates 364 days a year (closed on Christmas Day). Successful candidates will be part of a rota to cover working hours between 8am – 6pm, Monday to Friday, including weekends and bank holidays from 9am – 5pm.
