About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Analyst to join our team at Nottingham Forest FC. As a key member of our data-driven approach, you will be responsible for translating data into actionable insights that enhance decision-making across the club.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide data-driven support to key stakeholders, enhancing their understanding and utilization of data.
  • Work closely with coaches, scouts, and performance staff to translate data into practical performance strategies.
  • Develop strong relationships with the Head of Academy, Heads of Department, and the wider MDT Team to support the elite player programme and the delivery of our Academy football programme.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualification in Performance Analysis, Sports Science, or Data Science.
  • Previous experience working with Tableau or equivalent software to drive actions.
  • Previous experience working with data within a professional football club context.
  • Evidence of working and communicating insights from football data at any level.
  • Creative and curious problem solver with a positive attitude to new challenges.
  • Proactive and keen to learn, able to pick up new skills and work as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and evidence of working on developing strong analytical skills.
