The 5th and 6th Grade Director/Pastor is a key leadership role within the Northview Students Ministry. This position is responsible for leading, managing, and developing the 5th and 6th grade students at Northview's Carmel campus.

• Ministry Development
  • Develop and deliver weekly messages for 5th and 6th grade programs
  • Manage 5th and 6th grade volunteers
  • Provide oversight of 5th and 6th grade special events, retreats, etc.
• Leadership and Development
  • Develop curriculum as needed
  • Identify and develop leaders in students and adults
  • Recruit, train, lead, and motivate 5th and 6th grade volunteers
• Communication and Collaboration
  • Provide pastoral care and guidance to students and parents
  • Attend weekly staff meetings and service planning meetings
  • Coordinate Northview Students events with other ministries
• Administrative and Operational
  • Ensure safety of students by identifying and implementing appropriate risk management and training practices
  • Provide leadership and accountability to the Northview Students team
  • Respond to emails and voicemails within 24 hours

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field from a four-year college or university, plus three to five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Related experience includes working with middle school students, experience in teaching, managing people, and leading volunteers.
