We are seeking a seasoned Senior Procurement Manager to join Summer-Browning Associates in the defence sector. This role will involve supporting and executing strategic sourcing activities in line with approved category strategy and preferred suppliers list.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for executing the RFx process, supplier evaluation and selection, contract negotiation, business award, and contract handover to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement category strategies to meet business objectives.
- Manage and execute RFx processes, including tender evaluation and contract negotiation.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with public sector procurement regulations (PCR 2015) and experience of applying these to contracts (NEC 3/4) and high-value procurements.
- Utilize CCS procurement frameworks to drive efficiency and cost savings.
Requirements:
- Active SC clearance.
- Proven Senior Procurement Management background.
- Knowledge of public sector procurement regulation (PCR 2015) and experience of applying these to contracts (NEC 3/4) and high-value procurements.
