About the Role

The Financial Transaction Specialist role is a critical position within our Accounting and Finance department, focusing on the accurate handling of financial transactions and maintaining precise financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process non-invoice ad hoc payment requests, ensuring compliance with firm policies and authorizations.
  • Reconcile statements from suppliers and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve discrepancies or issues.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the disbursement process to enhance timeliness and accuracy in recording all transactions.
  • Support the development of training sessions for PAs on understanding the disbursement process and available resources.
  • Provide flexibility to support other office cashiering functions as required, contributing to overall team effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Sound working knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Accurate data input into various software systems.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and motivated team player with a proactive approach.
  • Basic working knowledge of Excel.
  • Familiarity with online banking systems.
  • Organized individual, with experience of working to deadlines.
  • Previous experience in a cashiering role.
