This is a challenging opportunity to join the Royal Mail Group as a Support Operations Manager, where you will play a key role in driving operational excellence and process improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address performance gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Operational Pipeline environment and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide coaching and guidance to Field Operational Managers on Continuous Improvement tools and techniques.
- Work closely with the L&D team to develop and deliver training programs to support the development of Lean and Continuous Improvement skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a management capacity with a track record of driving process improvements and operational excellence.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Lean and Continuous Improvement principles and tools.
- Ability to influence at all levels of leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and develop others.
- Relevant industry experience and knowledge of mail operations or similar dispersed manufacturing, network utility/logistics/service organizations.
