About the Role:

Venn Group is seeking an experienced Technical Author with a security clearance to fill a long-term contract in Shropshire. The ideal candidate will have multiple years of experience in Technical Authoring, with expertise in authoring to AESP and Def Stan Part 4, as well as familiarity with authoring tools such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Products.

The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be flexible regarding work style. A background in engineering or military/defence/nuclear experience is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Author technical documentation to AESP and Def Stan Part 4 standards
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation using Microsoft Office and Adobe Products
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on documentation to ensure high standards are met
