Ecological Consultant

Key Responsibilities- Lead the preparation of high-quality bids and tenders for ecological services, focusing on energy, defence, and water sectors.
- Oversee ecological project work, ensuring necessary resources, budgets, and controls are in place to meet programme and budget requirements.
- Deliver high-quality ecological consultancy and advisory services to internal and external clients.
- Produce ecology chapters for environmental statements and protected species licence applications.
- Author or technically check project deliverables to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Experience in leading ecological surveys, licensing, and impact assessments.
- Proven track record in work-winning, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong understanding of wildlife conservation and relevant habitats or species.
- Membership of a professional institution and evidence of working towards Chartership.
- A full driving licence and willingness to travel for company business.
