Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs in a secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with SEN needs in KS3 and KS4 classes
  • Assist with outdoor day trips and activity days
  • Embody the school's vision and core values
  • Work with students with ASC, complex needs, and challenging behaviors
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to ensure students stay on track with the curriculum
Requirements:
  • Patience, proactivity, and resilience
  • Experience working in a SEN school (not essential)
  • Strong ability to develop relationships and rapport with students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
