Job Title: Financial Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Partner to join our team at LM RECRUITMENT SOLUTIONS LTD. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our farming sector businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead on all aspects of accounting and finance for your area, including reporting, cashflow forecasting, budgeting, analysis, and decision support.
  • Maintain accurate financial records throughout the year, maximising company cashflow and providing a high level of service provision to various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build relationships with and work closely with your Accounts Assistant and other Operational Managers.
  • Produce clear monthly reports based on financial year and harvest or crop cycle, accompanied by insightful commentary on variance analysis compared to budget.
  • Report on both a cashflow and profitability basis of various entities within the group.
  • Review current financial processes, systems, and controls and make suggestions for improvements and efficiencies.
  • Perform financial analysis to help manage the business and to aid key business decisions.
  • Proactively help manage cost throughout the year.
  • Work with the other business accountants to proactively strive for best practice and company risk mitigation.
  • Be a key figurehead for your area during the annual audit, working closely with the Financial Controller.
Requirements:
  • Solid technical accounting knowledge, qualified or part-qualified ACA, CIMA, or ACCA.
  • Strong and up-to-date Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Agriculture/farming background is desirable.
