We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our multidisciplinary and highly collaborative R&D team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and documenting electrical systems for complex electromechanical medical machinery.

This role involves leading system and subsystem-level designs, applying engineering principles and techniques to bring innovative new products to market.

The ideal candidate will work across the full product development lifecycle, from concept to validation, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for medical devices, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Lead system and subsystem-level designs, applying engineering principles and techniques to drive innovation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement electrical systems, including mechanical and software components
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and user manuals
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring timely and successful project delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to drive business growth and innovation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in system-level design and development
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience managing multiple projects and teams
  • Experience with Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) and serviceability, with knowledge of medical electrical standards and regulated industry design control processes
  • Familiarity with controlling electro-mechanical devices, including motors, solenoids, and heaters, as well as understanding machine electrical hardware, including wiring, connectors, and power management
  • Experience in creating requirements and test procedures for electrical systems and printed circuit board assemblies
