Job Summary:

Nexus Resource Solutions is seeking a highly skilled NVQ Level 3 Rigger to join our team for a 4-week shutdown project in a major oil refinery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing intricate heavy lifts and ensuring the highest levels of quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality workmanship to tight timescales, meeting the expectations of our clients and their customers.
  • Assist in the execution of heavy lifts, requiring attention to detail and a strong understanding of safety protocols.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve project goals, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adhere to client safety rules and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Respond effectively to unforeseen circumstances, demonstrating a proactive and solution-focused approach.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in large-scale shutdowns on chemical plants, with a strong understanding of the associated challenges and requirements.
  • Hold a valid NVQ Level 3 qualification in Riggering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Rigger, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality work.
  • Hold a valid Safety Passport and be willing to undergo additional training and accreditation as required.
  • Working at heights is an advantage, but not essential.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive daily rate of £21.27 per hour, with additional pay for overtime and Sundays.
  • Hol pay of £23.82 per hour.
  • Top-line pay of £1,539.90 per week.
  • Radius money available.
  • £337.12 per week per shift dig payment or hotel room arrangement.

Working Hours:

  • 9.5-hour days, 6 days per week.
  • Monday to Friday, with Saturday off and Sunday work.
