We aim to deliver family centred maternity care to women and families within the Borders, focusing on the principles of Best Start.
Key Responsibilities- Work between Labour Ward, Ward 16 (antenatal/postnatal) and Community providing family centred care
- Support and assist the running of the service with a clear focus towards the principles of Best Start

What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary, with the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team. As a Midwife at NHS Borders, you will have the chance to develop your skills and experience in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
Please note that the salary quoted is for full-time hours (37.5 hrs per week). For appointments to part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rata. NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024, but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro-rata for part-time staff.
