Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and dedicated professional to deliver a comprehensive and efficient administrative support service across various Dental specialties. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of administrative experience, preferably within a healthcare setting, although other relevant experience will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- To transcribe, revise, and finalize clinical documentation, general correspondence, and reports utilizing the Trust's Digital Dictation and Speech Recognition System, ensuring timely dispatch of all communications.
- Maintain the required standards of proofreading and editing as outlined by the Trust.
- Utilize appropriate computer systems and Patient Administration System (PAS) to accurately enter and retrieve patient data, updating demographic information as necessary.
- Regularly monitor incoming email communications to stay informed about departmental and Trust-wide updates.
Qualifications:
We encourage applications from individuals who meet the essential criteria specified in the person specification. This includes possessing a qualification in word processing or audio transcription (or equivalent), achieving a minimum of GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics, and holding a Business and Administration Level 3 NVQ or equivalent experience.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a dictation typing assessment prior to an in-person interview.
