Job Description

The Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Timesheet Processing: Accurately process timesheets for our clients, ensuring timely submission and follow-up on any outstanding timesheets when necessary.
  • Statutory Payments: Handle the processing of all statutory payments, ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and regulations.
  • Holiday Pay: Process holiday pay requests and ensure timely submission to the relevant processing centre, adhering to all deadlines and requirements.
  • Attachment of Earnings: Administer Attachment of Earnings Orders, ensuring accurate deductions and payments to the appropriate authorities.
  • Payroll Accuracy: Ensure all payroll data is accurate and uploaded within the required deadlines, maintaining the highest level of precision and attention to detail.
  • Invoicing: Generate and issue invoices to clients for work completed by our workers, ensuring they are dispatched on time and in accordance with our company's policies.
  • Query Resolution: Address and resolve worker and client payroll queries efficiently and within an acceptable timeframe, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date and accurate payroll records, ensuring readiness for audits and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ad Hoc Duties: Perform any additional tasks as required to support the payroll team, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
Requirements:
  • Data Entry Skills: Proficient in data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring all tasks are completed correctly and to a high standard.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Payroll Legislation: Knowledge of payroll legislation and statutory requirements, ensuring compliance and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and workers, providing clear and concise information and support.
Package:
  • Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Holidays: 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, providing a healthy work-life balance and opportunities for relaxation and rejuvenation.
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with 1 day remote work option, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance.
  • Early Finish: Early finish at 4:00 PM on Fridays and 3:00 PM on paydays, providing a sense of accomplishment and a head start on the weekend.
