Job Overview

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • To undertake the assembly, installation, modification, repair/maintenance, and diagnostics of mechanical equipment/systems within the boatbuilding process and repair of all classes of Lifeboats.
  • To undertake the installation, modification, and maintenance of marine mechanical equipment and systems.
  • To undertake the testing/commissioning of marine mechanical equipment and systems.
  • To ensure the safe and efficient operation of mechanical equipment and systems.
  • To identify and report any defects or issues with mechanical equipment and systems.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • Proven experience in mechanical equipment installation, modification, and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of marine mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
