We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our Group Functions Technology team. As an Audit Manager, you will play a key part in providing independent assurance over the key applications that support many of the Bank's key central functions, including Financial Crime, Core Banking and Finance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide quality, efficient and effective assurance and influence business managers to improve controls
- Lead and coach your audit team as they deliver audit engagements and ensure they are delivered within budget and on time
- Leverage audit methodology and tools
- Manage key stakeholders throughout audit engagements, ensuring a good understanding of business risks and an open and effective discussion on key risk
- Experience in an internal or external audit environment and a strong background in auditing technology risks and controls
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities and the ability to assess and prioritize data effectively
- Chartered Accountancy and/or CISA qualification or similar and experience of financial reporting and/or financial crime systems from an audit or risk capacity
- Data analytics skills, including experience in using Python
- Ability to demonstrate leading a team in delivering projects while keeping a firm hand on budget, schedule and quality
- Proactive approach towards identifying and promoting talent
- Ability to support and supervise a team through coaching, feedback and development
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
