About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Luxury Designer to join our team at Hearst UK. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and supporting the Art Director and Art Editor in creating visually stunning content across all ELLE and Harpers Bazaar platforms and channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and layout pages for ELLE and Harper's Bazaar magazines, maintaining the brand identity and style of each title.
  • Reproduce and finalize pages for print production, ensuring high-quality output.
  • Support the art team with general administrative tasks, such as commissioning illustrators and designing regular pages and features.
  • Attend art meetings and generate innovative ideas for layout and design.
  • Work with industry-standard toolsets and structured workflow systems to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Design for digital, events, and brand marketing as required.
  • Represent Hearst UK and its values as an ambassador.
About You
  • Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Fully adaptable and able to design across all titles on all multi-platform offerings.
  • Able to build close working relationships with the team and understand the vision of each brand.
  • Enthusiasm and endless supply of new ideas, with a passionate approach to work.
  • The ability to think creatively and a strong eye for detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Some experience working as a Designer on a publication in the consumer magazine market and digital experience.
