Child Development Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Child Development Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- To work collaboratively with the management team to provide a high-quality service that meets the needs of children aged 0-5 years and their families.
- To develop and implement programs that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of young children.
- To provide support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to the resources and services they need.
- To work closely with other agencies and organizations to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to supporting children and families.
Requirements:
- Hold a HNC Childhood Practice at SCQF Level 7 or equivalent qualification recognized by the SSSC.
- Have experience working with children with additional support needs.
- Be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or have eligibility to apply.
- Be able to provide proof of right to work in the UK.
Important Information:
- This post is considered Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
- Applicants must not be barred from working with children.
- Overseas police checks may be required for applicants who have lived or worked outside the UK in the past 10 years.
