We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Lead Financial Operations Manager (Lease Management) to join our Head Office team.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in establishing reliable and precise financial reporting concerning the organization's extensive lease portfolio while providing cross-departmental support for commercial decision-making.

Reporting directly to the Director of Financial Reporting, the Lead Financial Operations Manager (Lease Management) will be an integral part of the Financial Reporting team and will also offer continuous assistance to Country Finance and the Property & Real Estate division.

This position will focus on applying in-depth IFRS16 expertise to deliver comprehensive financial analyses.

We seek a candidate who can leverage relevant professional experiences to enhance the current control framework while managing data related to our IFRS16 database as part of a broader Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) initiative.

Responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing the update and management of the organization's extensive lease portfolio and ensuring compliance with IFRS16 accounting standards.
  • Maintaining control over data processed and exported from the lease management software.
  • Leading the preparation of monthly reconciliations and supporting documentation for country finance teams, including:
    • Preparation of journal entries.
    • Ensuring consistency of Right of Use (RoU) assets and liabilities across reported figures at both local and consolidated levels.
  • Providing ongoing oversight of the process and control environment from record to report concerning right of use assets and liabilities under IFRS16.

Conducting routine data integrity testing and validation, including:

  • Verification of source data
  • Financial Accounting

Essential qualifications include:

  • Comprehensive understanding of IFRS16 accounting treatment.
  • Experience in business partnering, financial reporting, and commercial analysis is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with SAP and Qube is advantageous.
