About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join our team at James Lewis Recruitment. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for delivering projects from pre-construction phase through to final accounts and handover.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage 2-3 projects and project managers, depending on workload, across various sectors including commercial, healthcare, education, and pharmaceutical.
  • Ensure project delivery from pre-con design phase to handover, including programming, procurement, financial management, and health and safety.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing a snag-free delivery and ensuring handover with final accounts and completion of O&Ms.
  • Lead and manage teams, either across multiple projects or on single, larger projects, to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in delivering projects from pre-construction phase through to final accounts and handover.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical building services installations and equipment, with the ability to demonstrate understanding of how one side affects the other in terms of timelines, programmes, and procurement.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, project managers, and teams.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of £65,000 to £80,000 + package, depending on experience and qualifications. This role is open to individuals who wish to prove themselves and those who are already working in a similar role.
