Trainee Field Engineer (Water Industry)

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Field Engineer in the Water Industry. As a Trainee Field Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining a variety of mechanical instrumentation on the Wastewater network.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Driving from site to site and working outside in all weather conditions
  2. Lifting, carrying and moving equipment and chamber covers
  3. Entry into and working within confined spaces
  4. Installing and maintaining mechanical instrumentation

Requirements:
  1. Full driving licence essential
  2. No prior experience necessary, as all training will be provided
  3. Previous electrical or mechanical experience an advantage
  4. Previous experience as a field engineer useful
  5. Relevant academic qualifications an advantage, e.g. BTEC Engineering or BTEC Electrical
  6. Strong work ethic and desire to learn quickly during training
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  8. Flexibility to accommodate business needs

This is a full-time permanent position working for CV Library, with a starting salary of £24,000pa, increasing to £28,000pa after 6 months, and further rises based on progression and performance. You will receive full training, a vehicle, and all necessary tools and equipment. Excellent prospects in a vital industry.
