About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Doctor to join our Bank team at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust. As a Bank Doctor, you will work on an "as and when" basis, providing medical cover across various specialties and grades.

Main Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

  • Liaising with nurses, other clinicians, patients, and relatives to ensure safe care
  • Attending and participating in board rounds, ward rounds, and other daily unit activities
  • Providing workplace supervision to other staff as needed
  • Maintaining high standards of professionalism, especially in documentation
  • Arriving on time for shifts and being available for work from the arranged start time
  • Cooperating with the workforce deployment team in administration
  • Attending local induction as required when working in new areas
  • Complying with all local policies, including upholding the trust's values and behaviors

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must have:

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Eligibility for full registration with the GMC at the time of appointment
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
