About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solicitor to join our Disease Team in Glasgow. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling a caseload of pre-litigated and litigated disease cases for both insurer and uninsured clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct forensic reviews and analysis of relevant documents to determine liability and quantum.
  • Assist in drafting advice and court documents, including witness statements and instructions to experts and counsel.
  • Provide client liaison and site visits to ensure effective communication and case management.
  • Review files to assess litigation strategy and direction, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Partners and other team members to achieve business objectives and develop business development initiatives.
Requirements
  • 2+ years PQE in Litigation, with experience in Personal Injury and disease cases.
  • Excellent forensic skills, with the ability to analyze complex claims and provide clear advice.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, witnesses, and experts.
  • Previous experience in sensitive and complex claims is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Working Hours

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with one day per week in the Glasgow Office.
