Key Responsibilities
The laboratory encompasses various disciplines including Bacteriology, Parasitology, Mycology, and Serology, in addition to a specialized Diagnostic Molecular testing area. As a Microbiology Support Technician, you will be integral to the laboratory's testing processes and provide essential technical assistance to our Scientific staff.
With a high volume of investigations conducted each year, our department is a vital component of diagnostic services, supporting numerous healthcare facilities in the region.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should:
- Possess a GCSE in Maths and English (grades 9-5 or equivalent); a science-based GCSE is advantageous.
- Have prior experience in a laboratory setting, which is preferred.
- Exhibit dexterity, proficient keyboard skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
- Demonstrate strong literacy and numeracy skills, along with a flexible work approach.

Essential
