KS2 Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our well-established staff team and well-resourced KS2 department at a Primary School in Preston.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Key Stage 2 Teacher to teach the UK curriculum to a diverse cohort of students. The ideal candidate will have recent teaching experience and be comfortable and confident teaching across KS2.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach the UK curriculum to students in Year 5
• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons for all areas of the curriculum
• Recognize the importance of data analysis and use it to inform teaching practices
• Inspire pupils and support staff through passion and commitment to raising standards
• Apply resources available, including ICT, to enhance children's learning
• Create an inclusive learning environment and support pupils with EAL and SEN
• Implement effective teaching, learning, and behavior management strategies to maximize attainment

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (with a minimum of 1 year teaching experience within a UK School within a KS2 classroom)
• Proven track record of planning and delivering high-quality lessons
• Experience of differentiating for pupils with EAL and SEN
• Experience of planning for support staff
