Real Estate Operations Manager - Key Responsibilities:

Property Oversight:

  • Engaging contractors for routine maintenance tasks
  • Coordinating compliance checks for lettings, including safety regulations
  • Conducting property evaluations and providing reports to clients
  • Managing deposit releases, checkout assessments, and negotiating repayments
  • Providing out-of-hours emergency repair support
  • Overseeing housing license applications
  • Facilitating tenancy renewals and preparing necessary documentation

Financial Management:

  • Authorizing rent collections and managing arrears
  • Processing contractor expenses and generating financial statements
  • Setting up new tenancies within the management system
  • Preparing annual tax statements for landlords and submitting income reports
  • Ensuring daily banking accuracy and conducting regular account reconciliations

Real Estate Operations Manager - Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience managing a residential property portfolio
  • Familiarity with lettings accounts is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Strong attention to detail and proficient numeracy skills
  • Excellent communication abilities, both in-person and over the phone
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • ARLA qualification is preferred or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of property management software, ideally Alto accounting (not essential).

Real Estate Operations Manager – Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive annual salary range of £34,000 - £36,000
  • Opportunity to earn commissions through Rental Protection Insurance sales
  • Full-time office-based role
  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Generous holiday package: 20 days plus 8 bank holidays, with closure during the festive season
  • Company pension scheme with employer contribution of 3% and employee contribution of 5%
