Job Title: Education Recruitment Consultant

Chalkline Education & Support is seeking a highly skilled Education Recruitment Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and selecting top talent to support our mission to enhance the educational and emotional support for young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and post job advertisements for Tutor positions, ensuring they accurately reflect the requirements and responsibilities.
  • Conduct thorough screening processes, including reviewing applications, conducting initial interviews, and shortlisting candidates for Tutor roles.
  • Coordinate and conduct final interviews, working closely with educational professionals to select the most suitable candidates.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new Tutors, ensuring they understand their roles, responsibilities, and the support systems available for pupils with SEMH.
  • Develop and implement social media and candidate stream strategies to attract top talent and raise awareness of Chalkline's mission.
  • Represent Chalkline at marketing and networking events to promote services and establish connections with potential Tutors and educational institutions.
  • Support with operations and business development.
  • Provide administrative support, including managing schedules, organizing files, and maintaining records of Tutor engagements and compliance documents.
  • Support Tutors, offering observations, check-ins, and feedback to ensure they are effectively contributing to the educational and SEMH needs of pupils.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in education, SEMH, and recruitment to continually improve recruitment strategies and Tutor support programs.
  • Solicit feedback from schools, Tutors, and pupils to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the effectiveness of tutoring support.
  • Ensure all recruitment practices comply with UK employment laws and educational standards.
  • Conduct regular reviews of Tutor performance and compliance with agency standards to ensure high-quality support for pupils with SEMH.
Requirements:
  • Recruitment experience, preferably in the education sector.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding Policies and Procedures.
  • Professional Training in recruitment practices, safeguarding, and compliance.

Working Hours:

This role could be offered as part-time (minimum of 25 hours per week) or full-time (37.5 hours per week) Monday-Friday. Hours would fall between 08:00 and 18:00 aside from Fridays which we would also require Quality Audit support between 20:00 and 22:00 (this can be done from home). Overtime may also be available.

You would be expected to work from our office in Netherton, Dudley; however, there may be times where you will be able to work from home or attend events.
