As a Financial Services Administrator, you will collaborate with a team to deliver prompt and effective administrative support that aligns with the strategic objectives of the financial advisors and AFH Wealth Management.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide proficient administrative assistance to multiple financial advisors.
  • Draft correspondence, including letters and emails.
  • Act as a primary contact for clients, insurance providers, and internal team members.
  • Maintain all administrative systems, ensuring client data is accurate and current.
  • Oversee diary management systems, ensuring daily tasks are completed in accordance with established service level agreements.
  • Support the management of the financial advisors' existing client portfolios.
  • Ensure all relevant documentation is scanned and attached to appropriate client records.
  • Prepare new business and review materials for client meetings.
  • Conduct research as needed for protection and annuity products.
  • Provide mortgage research for financial advisors using online resources.
  • Request product illustrations from providers via online platforms or phone.
  • Perform filing, photocopying, and scanning tasks as necessary.
  • Handle fund switches and surrenders in compliance with service level agreements and regulatory guidelines.
  • Gather valuations and details on existing policies, ensuring administrative systems are updated accurately.
  • Participate in one-on-one meetings with financial advisors as required.
  • Attach correspondence to relevant client records and manage urgent mail within service level agreements.
  • Fulfill any other reasonable requests made by a Director or Manager.

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Proficient in building and nurturing relationships.
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Focused on delivering quality results.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A keen eye for detail.
  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
  • Able to work collaboratively within a team or independently when necessary.
  • Flexible to work within a shift pattern.
