Assistant Headteacher Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Headteacher to join our team at a SEND school in North Birmingham. This is a full-time, long-term role placement with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to drive school development and growth.
  • Report directly to the Headteacher and contribute to strategic decision-making.
  • Lead the development and implementation of SEN strategies across the school.
  • Design and maintain the inclusion/SEN Development plan in line with the school's Improvement Plan.
  • Attend relevant meetings and provide feedback to the senior leadership team.
  • Liaise with external agencies and maintain effective communication with parents.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a SEN setting.
  • Hold a QTS or recognized equivalent.
  • Proven experience as an Assistant Headteacher or in a senior leadership role.
