Fire Alarm Engineer Job Description

We're an electrical compliance company seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you'll work on social housing contracts, primarily focusing on conventional and addressable systems, testing, fault finding, and repair. New installation work will also be part of your role, along with emergency lighting testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work on existing conventional and addressable systems, testing, fault finding, and repair
  • Conduct new installation work, including emergency lighting testing
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals
Requirements:
  • DBS Certificate (must - can be obtained separately)
  • CSCS (must - can be obtained separately)
  • Punctual, polite, and approachable (must)
  • BS 5839-1 (must)
  • Protec experience (good understanding)
  • Kentec experience (good understanding)
  • C-tec experience (good understanding)
  • ESP (good understanding)
  • Advanced (good understanding)
  • CFP (good understanding)
  • Experience in emergency lighting testing (good understanding)

Experience:

Electrical - Post Apprenticeship: 5 years

Licence/Certification:
  • 5839-1 (required)

  • CSCS card
