Senior Structural Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Nottingham. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for leading projects, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with the wider team to deliver high-profile, technically demanding building projects in the Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers and technicians to help them achieve their development goals.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to deliver projects, including delegating work and managing resources.
  • Assist in the management of a team of engineers and technicians of varying experience.
  • Plan and manage resources, finances, and quality control requirements.

Requirements:

  • Chartered or near to becoming a Chartered Structural Engineer.
  • Over five years' experience in structural engineering, with a mixed variety of developments and materials.
  • Experience of using analysis and design software, including Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS, ETABS, and SAFE.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and opinions to engineers, architects, contractors, and clients.
