Role Overview

Your mission will be to animate our gaming experiences by constructing mathematical models that enhance slot gameplay. Collaborate with a team of highly skilled quantitative analysts and game developers to deliver an exceptional gaming experience for players.

As a vital member of the Game Design Team, your main duty will be to assist in the conceptualization and creation of innovative gaming content. Beyond contributing to the initial idea, you will be expected to generate software simulations and mathematical models to assess and refine the concept alongside other design team members.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in mathematics or software engineering and be in the early stages of their career. Strong academic performance, particularly in mathematics, is essential, along with proficiency in programming. While expertise in C++ is preferred, familiarity with C# or similar languages is acceptable. A solid grasp of spreadsheet-based mathematical modeling is also necessary. Candidates with additional skills in graphics or music will have the chance to leverage these talents.

Comprehensive training and mentorship will be provided, along with opportunities for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the initial design of casino and slot machine games Develop software simulations and/or spreadsheet mathematical models of concepts. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the markets relevant to the company Create and validate mathematical models for slot games that illustrate game probabilities and return-to-player metrics through theoretical calculations and/or simulations Code, test, and troubleshoot simulations of slot games to collect statistics and confirm the accuracy of mathematical models Work in conjunction with software engineers and mathematical testing engineers to ensure proper implementation and compliance of mathematical models with relevant regulations Collaborate with fellow mathematicians and game designers to brainstorm innovative game mechanics and assess the mathematical viability of conceptual models Develop insights into competitive products and technologies

Required Qualifications

Degree in Mathematics (or equivalent) A-level Mathematics with a strong grade Software development experience, ideally in C++, but C# or related languages are acceptable Proficiency in spreadsheet mathematical modeling Passion for gaming products
