Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Network Architect to join our team at European Tech Recruit. As a Network Architect, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and operating our global network, including backbone, data centre, public cloud, and Edge/CDN.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Implement network protocols, including TCP/IP, DHCP, BGP, OSPF/IS-IS, and MPLS.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network issues, using tools such as SNMP, flow/netflow, and Telemetry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including compute, storage, database, and recommendation system.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network architecture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in network architecture, with a focus on data centre networks.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DHCP, BGP, OSPF/IS-IS, and MPLS.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools, such as SNMP, flow/netflow, and Telemetry.
  • Knowledge of data centre network architecture, including CLOS.
  • Hands-on experience with major network devices, including Cisco, Arista, Juniper, H3C, Huawei, and other mainstream vendors.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols and implementation in hyper-scale data centre networks.
  • Experience with public cloud architecture, including AWS, GCP, Azure, Ali Cloud, OCI, etc.
  • Knowledge of mainstream commercial switch/router chipsets, including Broadcom, Barefoot, etc.
  • Programming/scripting skills in Python or other languages.
