Job Title: Senior Psychologist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Psychologist to work in an exceptional mental health hospital based in the Dorking, Surrey area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers, providing acute mental health services and supporting males of working age experiencing an acute mental health episode.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute towards the development and ongoing offer of the IROC service, identifying need and participating in development planning.
  • Support staff supervision and facilitation of client-related work undertaken by other team members.
  • Be involved in the development and delivery of a range of training to staff and other stakeholders/professionals as required.
  • Ensure Clinical Governance and operational policies are adhered to while working autonomously as required.
  • Ensure all aspects relating to Continuing Professional Development are met in order to maintain clinical registration.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Psychology and registration with the HCPC.
  • Well-developed skills in individual and group work and in program planning.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, complex, highly technical and/or clinically sensitive information.
