About the Role

CBSbutler is seeking a highly skilled Physics Graduate to join our team in a challenging and rewarding role. As a Physics Graduate, you will be responsible for working across all stages of Space and Science projects for imaging devices and sub-systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify and test customer requirements, covering a wide range of hands-on, clean-room, and office-based engineering tasks.
  • Work closely with project teams and manufacturing operatives to deliver high-quality devices that meet demanding customer specifications.
  • Write project documentation, including test plans, procedures, and test reports.
  • Train Operations staff as needed.
  • Participate in ensuring quality assurance practices are adhered to and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support process improvement activities for both project-specific and general processes.
Requirements
  • A physics or engineering-related degree.
  • Understanding of semiconductor device physics.
  • Understanding of test development, commissioning, and fault finding.
  • Experience using Labview or Matlab in an industrial or lab-based environment.
  • Analysis skills.
