Job Title: Communication & Marketing Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Communication & Marketing Officer to join our team at The Verbal Arts Centre (Northern Ireland) Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to enhance our Peace of Mind project awareness and engage with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase online engagement and awareness of our Peace of Mind project
  • Create captivating content for social media, including text, images, and videos
  • Collaborate with our existing social media team to foster meaningful partnerships and handle media relations
  • Plan and execute events, including launch and closure events for our Peace of Mind project
  • Work closely with our team to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all communication channels

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in communication and marketing, preferably in a non-profit or charity sector
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their role in communication and marketing
  • Excellent writing and content creation skills, with the ability to adapt to different tone and style
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and communication
