Job Title: Material Analyst
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Material Analyst to join our team at oilandgas. As a Material Analyst, you will be responsible for performing stress analysis on assigned components, collaborating with support functions, and generating technical presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stress Analysis: Perform stress analysis on assigned components, including gas turbine rotating parts and structural components.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with support functions, such as stress analysis, life management, heat transfer, materials, and design.
- Technical Presentations: Generate and deliver technical presentations to internal and external customers.
- Documentation: Write Design Study Summaries, Technical Memorandums, Coordination Memos, and Certification Reports to document design engineering activity.
Requirements:
Education: Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline (mechanical, aerospace/aeronautical, manufacturing, preferred).
Experience: Prior experience with ANSYS Mechanical APDL or Workbench, meshing applications such as Hypermesh or UG NX, and computer-aided modeling programs such as UG NX.
Skills:
Familiarity with 2D and 3D stress analysis, component life analysis (fatigue, damage tolerance, and fracture mechanics), and computer requirements (PC-based Windows applications, ANSYS Classic, Hypermesh, UG NX, PLM Teamcenter, Salesforce).
