About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Patient Dining team as a Ward Host/Hostess. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to patients, ensuring their nutritional and hydration needs are met, and contributing to the overall success of our hospital catering operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Provision and Order Taking: Provide menus to patients, take orders, and respond to dietary and allergen queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Prepare and deliver all refreshments and meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Cleanliness and Hygiene: Clear down ward areas, wash up dirty dishes, and maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to strict food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Communication and Liaison: Liaise with ward staff to ensure patients' needs are met in a timely manner, and provide excellent customer service by always putting the patient first.
