Job Title: Deputy Home Manager (Residential Care)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Home Manager to play a key role in overseeing the operations of our client's residential care home focused on supporting individuals with autism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support services to residents with autism.
  • Assist in the overall management of the facility, including staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee the training and development of care staff to ensure they are equipped to provide person-centered care for individuals with diverse needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment within the home, promoting independence and wellbeing for residents.
  • Act as a liaison between residents, their families, and external agencies to ensure effective communication and holistic support.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 in Health and Social Care or above.
  • Proven experience in a leadership or deputy management role within a residential care setting.
  • Knowledge and understanding of autism, as well as best practices for supporting individuals with diverse needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and staff.
