Unlock Your Potential as a Principal Software Engineer

AccelerComm Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Principal Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for leading the development and optimization of real-time software implementations of wireless communication signal processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on the development and optimization of high-performance software and APIs for hardware implementations of wireless communication signal processing.
  • Design and implement software solutions through the product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software aspects of wireless communication signal processing into open-source reference systems.
  • Provide strategic leadership to inform technical decision-making and planning at a company level.
  • Take ownership of project delivery and provide technical leadership to ensure successful and timely completion.
  • Mentor junior colleagues to aid their development and growth.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) with a strong background in software development.
  • Expert experience in C++/C programming languages.
  • Experience with Linux development and deployment.
  • Proven track record of leading software teams and developing high-performance software solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, Jenkins).
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with DPDK application and poll mode driver development.
  • Knowledge of modern C++ up to C++20 and object-oriented design principles.
  • Familiarity with high-performance computing (HPC) software solutions.
  • Bare-metal programming or embedded RTOS experience.
