About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join our team at Kemp Recruitment. As an experienced HGV Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and components in automotive vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and components in automotive vehicles, including wiring harnesses, lighting systems, and electronic control units.
  • Assemble and fit electrical components according to engineering drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturing instructions.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and diagnose problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Test electrical systems for functionality, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including documentation of repairs, installations, and testing procedures.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a similar role.
  • NVQ or City & Guilds level 3 in Auto Electrics.
  • Class 1 licence (preferable but not essential).
