Key Responsibilities- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to promote their comfort and well-being.
- Assist with patient transfer to and from the department, as well as transfer of patients within the department.
- Perform circulating duties and provide the scrub team with sterile consumables in a safe and effective manner.
- Obtain and label specimens from within the sterile field as directed by the nurse in charge.
- Carry out designated tasks as part of the team, for which appropriate training has been given.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and Trust documentation.
- Use the theatre computer system for patient administration.
