About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Nottingham. As an Associate Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design of projects up to the value of £10M, managing a team of Electrical Design Engineers, and mentoring them to help them progress in their careers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of electrical projects up to £10M in value
  • Manage a team of Electrical Design Engineers, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge
  • Lead client meetings, representing the company and building strong relationships with clients
  • Design electrical aspects of projects, including small power, fire, lighting, security, and access control
  • Work on a variety of projects across different sectors, including healthcare, commercial, industrial, education, hotels, and leisure
  • Use the latest design packages and technology to ensure constant development and improvement
  • Offer opportunities for growth and development within the company

Requirements:

  • Experience working as an Associate Electrical Design Engineer or similar role in a consulting background
  • Working knowledge of CAD and Revit MEP
  • HND and/or Degree in Electrical/Building Services Engineering, CIBSE membership
