English Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic English teacher to join our team in Melton Mowbray. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to KS3 and KS4 level, with a focus on delivering high-quality lessons and engaging students.

The ideal candidate will have a detailed knowledge of the curriculum, high standards of communication, and the ability to work as a team. They will be responsible for assessing, marking, and planning lessons, as well as providing progress reports and attending parent's evenings and department meetings.

As a full-time English teacher, you will be expected to:

  1. Teach English to KS3 and KS4 level.
  2. Have a detailed knowledge of the curriculum.
  3. Have high standards of communication and the ability to work as a team.
  4. Assess, mark, and plan lessons.
  5. Assess achievements of pupils.
  6. Provide progress reports and attend parent's evenings & department meetings.
