About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Clearance Specialist to join our team at DFDS. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient clearance of customs documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and complete customs clearance documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Verify and validate documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any issues or discrepancies
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in customs regulations and laws, and implement new procedures as necessary
  • Provide expert advice to customers on import and export restrictions, tariff systems, and insurance requirements
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of three years of experience in customs clearance, with a strong understanding of the import and export process. Ideally, you will also have knowledge of POAO goods and the specific documentation required for these commodities.

You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, working independently and as part of a team to achieve our goals. Your excellent communication and problem-solving skills will enable you to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
